Authors of two winning videos from Montenegrin competition have participated on Telenor Youth Summit in Oslo
(Podgorica, December 16 2013) – Telenor Group has hosted 25 young entrepreneurs who are actively working on populating communications and technology in their communities. First Summit took place from 9th until 11th in Oslo. Originated from different countries from Europe and Asia, in Nobel Peace Center, they had shown their ideas referring to mobile technology as an instrument for solving social and economic challenges.
Montenegrin representatives were Anton Jurovicki and Filip Markovic, whom five- member jury had selected as authors of the most creative and most applicable ideas.
Anton Jurovicki is proud to represent Montenegro in this kind of event and in through his video file has shown the power of the Internet. “Flawless organization of numerous activities enabled all participants to easily adopt Telenor’s ecosystem and learn new techniques and make new contacts. Listening to people from Facebook, Twitter, Firefox, Wikipedia and top management of Telenor Group, have broaden knowledge in areas I am working on. Crown of Summit, with no doubt, was the presence to an awarding ceremony of the Nobel Peace Prize, what is really unique privilege. I came back with totally different and new perspective on telecommunication and mobile industry world”, Jurovicki said.
“Summit was the center of many nations, different perspectives, opinions and incredibly talented young people. Each of them was guided by the idea of a better world, which we were supposed to make even better by usage of mobile technologies, through theories and plans for now. This gathering got into everyone’s head completely new perspectives and emotions on technologies, world and people in it”, said Filip Markovic who was working on mobile phones usage topic.

Young people completely understand in which way connectivity and Internet can have important role in making society better and we are proud for being able to provide support in realizing their ideas and help them to reach bigger audience with their projects”, Husic said.
Youth Summit is new global initiative of Telenor group and is conceived as a place for sharing ideas about ways in which mobile communications and Internet stimulate growth and change society.
Host of the Summit was Jon Frederik Baksas, CEO of Telenor Group; Initiative was launched in collaboration with Nobile peace Center. Telenor Group has initiated this project in 13 markets in Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.
