Telenor continues to participate in programs for professional training and development of professionals, particularly young people.
(Podgorica, 11 April 2014) – Program for professional training of the youth and creating chances for their employment will be in Telenor focus in upcoming period. Third year in a row Telenor has been participating in programs of professional development and will participate on this year Career Ways employment fair.
As one of the most attractive employers in Montenegro, Telenor currently employs 300 people. By participating at this year Career Ways fair Telenor is again giving a chance to the young people who want to get an opportunity to start their professional engagement in well-known international company which is present in 13 markets worldwide.
Stevan Milic, Head of Corporate communications and Human Resources points out that there are 9 students on vocational training in Telenor at the moment. They have been recruited through the Government’s program for professional training and the internship program of the American Chamber of Commerce.
“Different programs of internships are good ways for young people to find a job and develop professionally in those economically hard times; and for the company internships are one of the ways to find well skilled professionals. Telenor is a company that is strongly youth oriented, which is why we are very ready to offer them opportunity to work in multinational company and learn from the best”, Milic said. “To each young person that is doing internship in Telenor and is on the beginning of career we make clear that even internship can be a way for getting a job”, Milic has noted.
Until now 15 people have passed the Government’s program and internship program of the American Chamber of Commerce. Apart from this, in cooperation with Montenegrin universities Telenor is planning to organize different panels and presentations in order to introduce students with the corporate way of working in less formal way.
