(Podgorica, October 08, 2013) – At the Telenor Youth Summit to take place from December 09-11 in Oslo, Montenegro will be represented by Anton Jurovicki and Filip Marković who, according to a five-member jury, presented contribution of technologies to societal development in the most satisfactory way. The selection was conducted based on innovativeness of the solution and applicability of the idea whereas two video files will be on display at the Nobel Peace Centre in the shape of a digital bouquet of ideas and annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Anton Jurovicki focused on the power of the Internet and the Internet.com project in his video file, with an aim to connect the entire world with this global network. “In my video I explain the advantages of technology, as well as potential solution for improved expansion of quality information based on human experience. Imagine the world in which we are all connected, bearing in mind that only one third of world population has Internet access at this moment,” said Jurovicki.
The second Montenegrin representative Filip Marković covered the use of mobile phones. “The use of mobile phones is widespread nowadays, which is a fantastic opportunity to present different global issues, which sometimes unfortunately includes ugly reality as well. The PointofView presents conceptual solutions which could offer different outlooks on our reality with the help of mobile phones,” Marković explained in his proposal.
