The youngest and their parents now can find information about project ‘’Conquer Internet, surf wisely’’ on social networks Facebook and Twitter. Project is implemented by Telenor and Ministry for information society and telecommunications. Beside Project information, these channels will be up dated with interesting and useful information how to be protected on the Internet.
Aim of the FB page SurfujPametno is to provide information about the project that will bring different and interesting activities in coming period. It will also help parents and kids to get informed at one place about Internet safety. Similar information will be up-dated on Twitter as well.
After successfully implemented Pilot phase ‘’Connecting Generations’’ Telenor will work not only on peer education workshops in coming period but on raising awarness regarding Internet safety through social networks. By this, more pupils and their parents will be reached and helped to gain knowladge and skills that will help them in digital enviroment. How we behave on-line, protection of personal data and usage of chat and other social networks were in our focus in past period and we will continue project and our engagement on social networks based on this.
