Investment in the new Technical building confirms Telenor long term dedication to invest in Montenegro.
May 26, 2015 – After eight months of construction, the time has finally come: modern Technical building with state of the art equipment is officially opened today by Ove Fredheim, Chairman of the Management Board of Telenor Montenegro and Vujica Lazovic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications.
Construction works began on October 9 in Stari Aerodrom, on the area of around 900m2, with a ground surface area of around 450m2. The location is atomized, in line with the highest technical standards.
Opening of Technical building brings an additional competitive edge in the development of new products and solutions for Telenor customers.
“This building will facilitate maintenance and enhance network security. It will provide secure location for any type of the equipment and further investment in the digital future. At the same time, it will strengthen Telenor’s ability to keep providing the latest telecommunication technologies and superior customer experience, supporting our brand slogan The difference is in the network”, said Ove Fredheim, Chairman of the Management Board of Telenor Montenegro during the official Technical building opening ceremony.
As stated by Vujica Lazovic, Deputy Prime Minister “We are committed to supporting development of ICT infrastructure and electronic services in our country for many years, and on that journey we had cooperation with numerous partners, including Telenor, as a company that strives for continuous improvement of services quality and its offer, with the aim of simplification and enhancement of communication and lifestyle of Montenegrin citizens’’.
The newest Telenor investment represents another confirmation of Telenor long term dedication to further develop Montenegrin market, emphasized Michael Malvebo, General Manager of Telenor Montenegro, thanking everyone involved in implementation of one of the most important projects and investments Telenor conducted in Montenegro.
