Telenor Montenegro revenues in Q4 2012 reached 17.2 million Euros, 6 percent lower than in the same period last year. The EBITDA margin decreased by 1 percentage point due to reduced revenues which were partly offset by lower costs from better cost control.
The SIM market share at the end of Q4 2012 was 40 percent and Telenor Montenegro held the leadership position in the market. Nevertheless, introduction of SIM tax and prepaid registration as such has reduced multi SIM behavior in the market.
General Manager of Telenor Montenegro, Kaaren Hilsen said that ‘’despite the challenging macroeconomic situation in Montenegro, Telenor Montenegro continues to further strengthen its market position. We remain determined to provide our customers with better, more secure and reliable services, and will continue with investments in Montenegro and our operations to facilitate this’’.
