After a successful visit to Danilovgrad, Nikšić, Golubovci and surroundings, #SmartKaravan will travel today to northern Montenegro to visit Pljevlja (June 19th), Berane and Bijelo Polje (June 20th),

(Podgorica, June 19th, 2013) #SmartKaravan has shown once more that 3G network’s speeds are superior – 8.39Mb/s download and 1.74Mb/s upload speeds have been achieved. Within first two Caravan days 8.39Mb/s is a record-high speed in 3G network; nonetheless, we believe this record will soon be broken.

Please note that during SMART Caravan’s visit to Danilovgrad and Nikšić yesterday, we registered speeds above the expected ones, those exceeding average user’s needs. Average download speed was 8.04 Mb/s, namely 1.75 Mb/s for upload in 3G network, whereas average speeds in 4G network reached up to 45.41Mb/s for download, namely 13.34Mb/s for upload. Interestingly streaming of a 3D HD video clip, the most advanced video and audio streaming format at this moment, takes from 9 to 12Mb/s.

We chose winners among customers yesterday -  the most skilful ones won phones, Internet modem and Internet for One Day package, as well as Deezer unique music stream service.

On Monday, June 17th, Telenor SMART Caravan launched its journey to visit towns in central and northern part of the country, in order to meet customers’ needs in the best possible way and improve communication, and, at the same time, measure the quality of Telenor SMART network.  On the last Caravan’s day, June 21st, we will reach Podgorica and complete the first phase.

The second phase of this project is planned for autumn and will last until the end of the year. During the second phase, events will be organised in several towns in southern Montenegro, whereas names of towns Caravan plans to visit will be published later on.
