Around 1,200 Telenor prepaid customers have used he opportunity to replace their 2G or 3G SIM card with a free 4G card. Along with a free 4G card, Telenor also gave three gigabytes of free internet to its customers. Telenor started the initiative of free card replacement at the end of May, making the fast internet even more accessible.
Cards can be replaced in all Telenor shops. In order to properly use the benefits of 4G technology, the customers need to possess the device supporting the 4G network.
With this initiative, Telenor wants to enable its customers to enjoy modern services in the largest 4G network in Montenegro.
According to a research conducted by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, Telenor has the highest number of 4G base stations in the country, as many as 364, and 4G technology is used for data services in 95% of cases.
