Global initiative of Telenor is aimed at gathering young future leaders in Oslo on the topic „Knowledge for all“
August 19 2015 – Telenor invites young people from Montenegro to apply for the third Telenor Youth Forum that is held in Oslo in December 2015. Forum is organized by Telenor Group in cooperation with the Nobel Peace Center.
All interested parties who are 18 to 28 years old, have passion for fomenting social, economic and/or ecological changes in their community, have a good knowledge of English and interesting opinion on how digital communications influences the society, may apply to participate at Forum. Deadline for applications is Monday, September 21 2015 at 5:00 pm.
Competence in the field of telecommunications is not required, but candidates are expected to write 300 words essay and answer one of three questions related to this year's topic of the Forum: „Knowledge for all“.
„With the help of Telenor Youth Forum, we are gathering young people from Nordic countries, Europe and Asia and giving them opportunity to exchange opinions and views on challenges and benefits that are brought to this new world in which we are increasingly connected to technology. We are glad that we have possibility to also send two participants from Montenegro to take part at the Forum and give them unique experience“, it was stated from the company.
Final selection of two Montenegrin candidates who will travel to Oslo will be in the hands of international selection panel that will include representatives from civil sector and the Nobel Peace Center, and also academics and leaders from Telenor Group. Travel cost, including food and accommodation of the two selected candidates is covered by Telenor.
