Surf Wisely application for Firefox operating system

(Podgorica, November 20 2014) All previous published stories created through the "Conquer Internet, surf wisely" initiative, children and parents can follow via mobile application that has now expanded from  Android to the Firefox platform, operating system that was introduced to Montenegrin users by Telenor. Informative and educational application can from now on be download by everyone in the Firefox Marketplace and they can use their smart devices to improve or renew knowledge about the latest technologies and security settings on social networks.

 

In the spirit of the Initiative and Telenor foundation projects, young programmers have worked on the application, in order to adapt it better to the target group but also to foster entrepreneurship and creativity of people who are just starting their careers.

 

"We continue connecting our resources and goals of Telenor Foundation, thus Firefox application was created by young people for young people, with the support of fleka studio design. Our priority is to ultimately expand the channels of communication and make #SurfWisely available on each operating platform, making Internet safe place for every child and parent. "The application can be downloaded by everyone, and if the user is provided with Telenor Smart Network, Internet traffic for using this application will not be charged, " said Adrian Husic, Telenor Foundation Manager.

 

We remind that SurfWisely application for Android OS was created by young Montenegrin programmers Lazar Bulatovic and Stevan Bogosavljevic, with the support and coaching from Andrija Scepanovic form fleka, interactive design studio. Application "Surf wisely" is both informative and educational. It includes plenty of interesting news from the technology world, instruction for security settings on social networks and it gives users opportunity to ask questions.
